Rockford Ice Festival Tries To Break Guinness Record For Sundaes

The Rockford Ice Festival kicks off this weekend, January 14th-15th!  As if the ice sculptures, scavenger hunt, ice carving demonstrations,  free hot chocolate and tons of other activities for the family are not enough, the rockford Ice Festival is looking to make it into the Guinness Book of World records!

Last year a record 10,000 people visited Rockford for the festival but this year they are looking for even more!  The incentive?  Free sundaes!  You heard me right!  FREE sundaes!  It's an attempt to break the record for the longest ice cream sundae bar. The individual sundaes, lined up, will need to be more than 300 feet long, all on tables linked together.
