Ritz Koney Bar & Grille is closing its doors after serving patrons downtown Grand Rapids for the past 10 years.

The late night eatery and bar at 64 Ionia Avenue SW in Grand Rapids, where it also hosted music and karaoke, announced on Facebook that it is closing in February.

"It is with mixed emotions and heavy heart, we are announcing the official closing of Ritz Koney Bar & Grille on February 23, 2015.

We would first like to thank our families, friends, vendors and loyal patrons who have been on this journey with us since our humble beginnings ten years ago. What an incredible adventure it has been."

They go on to explain their building's landlord chose not to renew their lease and plans to put another restaurant in the location.

Ritz Koney has been given 30 days to vacate the premises and does not have time to find another location for the business.

The message closes, thanking guests for their patronage and inviting everyone to stop in for one last drink or bite to eat, to share some stories, and to say goodbye.
