Richard Branson Will Explore the Deepest Ocean

Billionaire Richard Branson has announced that his new Challenger submersible will be ready for action later this year, and he plans to pilot at least one of the deep sea missions himself.

With the capability of traveling nearly seven miles down, Branson’s venture, Virgin Oceanic, will be exploring places never seen before.

Due to the immense pressure, very few craft have ever been able to observe the creatures and features of the ocean’s deepest trenches.

Would you go if you could?
