The good news is the flu is not at seasonal highs across Michigan.

The bad news is the flu doesn't appear to be going away.

Reports of flu-like symptoms across Michigan have remained very steady over the past month.  The flu continues to be widespread across northern Michigan.

Unfortunately, I can confirm through personal experience.  We've been hit by the flu twice in the past three weeks at my house.

The latest flu report from the Michigan Department of Community Health is very similar to the last few.  Reports of flu-like symptoms are about equal to the levels we first saw in mid-December.

The "Central" region of Michigan, which includes West Michigan, reports the second highest rate of the flu.
