One of the long running gags around here is needing a vacation from our vacation. Playing too hard, etc. Does anyone really feel better after vacation.

Vacations really only seem to provide temporary relief from the grind of everyday life. Nearly 85-percent admit in a new TripAdvisor poll that it doesn't take long for their stress levels to return to what they were before their vacations. More than 40-percent note they're feeling stressed out within a week of ending their vacations, and 19-percent say the stress is back the first day they get back to their regular routines. In addition, the majority of people don't really relax throughout their entire vacation. Nearly two-thirds start to feel the anxieties return before the vacation ends. This time of the year also complicates matters further, as 41-percent experience Labor Day blues over the realization that summer is over.
