Another recall to tell you about.  This one is for Jeep Grand Cherokee (1993-2004) and Jeep Liberty (2002-2007) vehicles.

The concern is over the possibility of fire following a rear-impact collision. The NHTSA says there have been over 30 accidents that caused fires and resulted in nearly 50 deaths.

Chrysler says it will recall the vehicles and in “some cases,” provide an upgrade to the rear structure of the vehicle to better manage crash forces in low-speed impacts.

If you have one of the affected Jeep vehicles, contact your dealer for further information.
