This recently released dashcam footage of the April 28 high speed chase of Theodore Little, a suspect in an attempted murder.

The chase picks up on Fulton at Monroe and ends up when Little crashes near the John Ball Park Zoo.

It's kind of like playing a video game, until you realize those are familiar streets, and those are real people avoiding serious injury by inches. Exciting, yes, but at the same time, all too real.

Nathan Fynewever of the GRPD is the officer driving the pursuit vehicle. The officer's dashcam video shows the suspect's car weaving in and out of traffic, passing cars in the lane for oncoming vehicles and running red lights.

A caravan of police cars chase Little's red Mazda for over a mile before loses control trying to aceess I-196 off Fulton near the John Ball Park Zoo, crosses the median and goes up an enbankment, bringing the chase to an abrupt halt.

Little was taken into custody thereafter.

Police say they confiscated a handgun in the car, but say Little never threatened officers with the weapon.

He is facing 11 felony charges, including the attempted murder of his 27-year-old girlfriend, who is recovering from a gunshot wound.
