Phoebe, a 10-month-old brindle-colored Staffordshire mix, came visiting Andy Rent on the "Andy in the Morning" show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Heather, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Phoebe into the studios. She came from the Allegan County shelter. She was a stray, but is very well socialized. She loves playing with other dogs and with people. She has lots of energy, but is very gentle at the same time. If you have an active life-style, Phoebe may be the perfect addition to your family and home.

You can get all the information on Phoebe and adopting, by visiting the society's website or call (616) 453-8900.

Heather also mentioned they have vaccination clinics through The Vaccination Station, a partnership between Humane Society of West Michigan and C-SNIP, in an effort to offer affordable options to low-income pet owners.

To qualify for the clinics clients must be able to show proof of low-income status up to 200 percent of the federal poverty line. Examples of proof are Bridge card, Medicaid card, pay stub, tax return, unemployment, proof of social security, etc.)
