Man Shot Himself at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital Downtown Grand Rapids

UPDATE: Police say the 26-year-old man who shot himself outside of Spectrum Butterworth Hospital has died. The man left a suicide note indicating he had a "parting gift" for police. Police are investigating  a suspicious package near the scene.

A man has shot himself outside the emergency room at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital downtown Grand Rapids, Fox 17 reports.

Today, ArtPrize announced they are extending artist registration for ArtPrize Eight by one week after St. Cecilia Music Center pulled out of this year's competition.
