4 Dead, 16 Injured in Fort Hood Shooting

Four people, including the gunman, were killed and 16 others injured in a shooting at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas Wednesday evening.  Fort Hood officials said the gunman was a soldier who had been receiving mental health treatment and that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

West Michigan’s Worst Pothole Contest’s Winner Is From Holland: Cody Overway

There are definitely some rim-rattling potholes to be found in greater Grand Rapids and across West Michigan.

It's not difficult to find those stinkin' tire-killers! Just go out and drive a little.

One hundred thirty people from across Michigan shared what they believed were the worst potholes around and entered West Michigan's Worst Pothole Contest, sponsored by Schneider Tire Outlet, Inc., of Marne.

After poring through those eye-opening entries, West Michigan's Worst Pothole is found in Holland.

Today is National Walking Day!

The American Heart Association is encouraging all of us Americans to lace up and get moving today, April 2. Whether it’s walking, running, biking, playing sports or joining a group class, the goal is getting more active. The association recommends at least 150 minutes of physical activity weekly for adults, 60 minutes a day for kids.
