Storms caused over 39,000 Consumer Energy customers to lose power in Michigan on Monday night.

Most in West Michigan should see their power restored before 2:00am on June 18.

Some near Flint may not see power restored until as late as Wednesday night.

 

 

As of 10:30 p.m. Monday, areas most affected by electric interruptions were: Allegan (4,120); Genesee (25,480); Kent (826); Midland (2,440) and Saginaw (6,300).

West Michigan outages and restoration estimates include:

  • Rockford area - 460 customers without power expected to have power restored by 12:18am on 6/18.
  • Sparta area - 148 customers without power expected to have power restored by 12:24am on 6/18.
