Ottawa County Power Outage Planned For December 4

Consumers Energy is planning a power outage on Tuesday, December 4 in Ottawa County.

The outage will effect over 200 customers.

The outage covers parts of Laketown Township and Park Township.  Mlive.com explains the work being done and the exact location of the outage:

Utility crews will complete a service extension to a new subdivision and switch electric service to a new underground system.

The affected area covers Park Township from the Lake Macatawa channel west to Lake Michigan, south to Grand Avenue and east to Maksaba Trail in Laketown Township.

The outage is scheduled from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

If it rains, the outage will be moved to Wednesday, December 5.
