A Norton Shores Couple are searching for a good samaritan who helped them in a time of need.

WZZM-13 reports that Nora Chilcote collapsed outside her home on McCracken Street in Norton Shores on Tuesday afternoon. She had been outside calling for her dog, and the next thing she knew, she woke up in a hospital bed.

Nora's longtime boyfriend, William Norris, shares that she was found by someone walking by:

"I got an emergency phone call saying that Nora was rushed to the emergency [room] and that she fell...This young lady was walking a little girl I don't know what direction she was coming from and found Nora laying in our driveway and just stopped, helped her in the house, Nora was bleeding and called 911."

Nora suffered a suffered a skull fracture and severe bruising. William also shares that Nora has been diagnosed with cancer and given three to six months to live.

Despite this difficult time, they are grateful for the person who helped Nora and believe she enabled Nora to have even more time on this earth:

"[It will] Give us more time hopefully. But even if that doesn't happen, it certainly gives me another outlook on everything. I can't say anything more than thank you so much."

The couple is hoping to connect with the person who helped them. If this incident sounds familiar, they'd like to be contacted at (231) 760-3803.
