Your favorite characters come to life at the Night at Your Museum on a very special night. Hosted by the Grand Rapids Public Museum (GRPM), mother's, father's, and children of all ages will have a blast of a time on Sunday, December 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Using a souvenir flashlight and honorary security guard badge upon admittance to the dimly-lit museum, visitors become part of the drama that unfolds as characters from the Museum’s exhibits come to life. Medieval knights will duel with swords, Native Americans will perform ceremonial dances in full regalia and Civil War soldiers will reenact skirmishes. Guests can take a ride on the 1928 Spillman Carousel, catch a Mighty Wurlitzer Theater Organ concert and see a planetarium show in the newly renovated Chaffee Planetarium.
