As the Super Bowl nears and the hype grows it's nice to see a sweet story like this.

Earlier this week, a young, hard-of-hearing girl wrote to Derrick Coleman of the Super Bowl-bound Seattle Seahawks.

Coleman is the first legally deaf offensive NFL player.

In the hand-written letter, the girl told Coleman that both she and her twin sister wear hearing aids too, that she loves sports, and she encouraged Coleman to "just try your best".

The girl's dad sent the letter to Coleman via Twitter.

The next morning Coleman took a few minutes out of his busy schedule to respond.

See the letters below and good luck trying to ever root against the Seahawks again.
