NetWork 2 NewWork is an all-volunteer group which helps those who are unemployed, underemployed, or making a career change.

They will be hosting a free networking event at Redeemer Covenant Church in Gaines Township on Wednesday, July 15 from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

NetWork 2 NewWork is a community service of EaRN (Employment and Resource Network). EaRN is a ministry which helps people find work and stay employable.

NetWork 2 NewWork is beginning their fourth year of operation. They host a networking opportunity every two months. Each event teaches the basics of networking including: social media, interviewing, working with recruiters, and interviewing. Attendees also learn about how to approach networking as a lifestyle, not just a job-searching tool.

Wednesday's free event features a leader in the technology industry, Keith Brophy, as he presents "What Will the Future Hold for West Michigan’s Business and Professional Life?". Registration is required and donations are welcome.

The event is also NetWork 2 NewWork's annual cookout.

Check-in, food and networking begin at 4:30 p.m. Keith Brophy's presentation is from 5:45 p.m. - 6:45 p.m., then more networking until the night concludes with a door prize drawing at 7:55 p.m. There will also be an opportunity to get a professional LinkedIn headshot for a donation.
