It's been nearly a year since Danielle Stislicki went missing after leaving work at Met Life in Southfield, Mich., and a year later there are still more questions than answers in the case.

Stislicki was last seen leaving her office around 5 p.m. on Friday, December 2, 2016. She was supposed to meet up with a friend for dinner that night, but never showed up. Shortly after Stislicki was reported missing, her green Jeep Renegade was found in the parking lot of her apartment complex with her keys and purse locked inside.

Stislicki was not in her car, and not in her apartment, and police believe she was the victim of a crime. But, where is she? Why has no one been arrested in connection to the case?

Floyd Galloway Jr., a person of interest in Stislicki's disappearance, is currently facing charges unrelated to her disappearance. Police allege that on September 4, 2016, Calloway attempted to sexually assault a woman at Hines Park in Wayne County. He is facing charges of kidnapping, criminal sexual conduct-assault with intent to commit sexual penetration, assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder by strangulation and assault with intent to murder. Click On Detroit reports that he was offered, and rejected, a plea deal in that case.

So, who is Floyd Galloway, Jr.? Galloway was a security guard at the MetLife building where Stislicki worked. Police obtained a warrant to search his home, and removed a mattress and some floorboards from the residence, but it's unclear what connection they have to the case.

In July of 2017, police searched Hines Park in connection to Danielle's case, but found nothing related to the case.

Police believe that Stislicki was the victim of a crime and is "not alive".

Danielle Stislicki is described as being 5'5", and approximately 123 lbs. She has brown eyes and brown, wavy, medium length hair. She was last seen wearing a sky blue Eddie Bauer jacket (which can be seen here), blue jeans, a black zip up shirt, and burgundy boots.

Farmington Hills Police ask that you contact them if:

  • You saw Stislicki and/or her vehicle leaving the Met Life office on Dec. 2.
  • You saw Stislicki or her vehicle arrive at her apartment between 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 3.
  • You saw Stislicki any time between 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 6 p.m. on Dec. 3.

Police are also still looking for two key pieces of evidence - Stislicki's keys, which include a very unique keychain; and her rose-colored Samsung Galaxy Core Prime phone (you can see photos of both items here.)

Stislicki's friends have created a Find Danielle Stislicki Facebook page, as well as a website, finddani.org. A GoFundMe account has also been established by a friend.

A reward of $129,000 is currently being offered.

Anyone with any information about Stislicki’s disappearance is asked to call Farmington Hills Police Department at (248) 871-2610.
