NB 131 Construction Through Grand Rapids Almost Finished!

Received a tweet today from the Michigan Department of Transportation with some GREAT news!

At 4am Thursday, the construction on northbound US131 through Grand Rapids will be FINISHED!

Here's the scoop:

  • Tonight (Wednesday) starting at 9pm, there will be TWO lanes closed on northbound 131 between I-196 and Ann Street. This is happening so they can finish construction and complete the pavement markings.
  • Around 4am Thursday, ALL northbound lanes on US131 will be open! And the eastbound I-196 ramp to US131 north will be back open, too!
