‘Movies In The Park’ Coming To Grand Rapids
It's fun to get outdoors during summer.
It's also fun to relax and catch a movie once in a while.
Why not combine the two?
'Movies in the Park' is coming to Grand Rapids this summer!
A survey was recently conducted to see which movies Grand Rapids area residents would like to see most at the Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. Movies in the Park series.
The winners and dates have been announced:
- The Princess Bride (PG) – August 2, 2013
- Back to the Future (PG) – August 16, 2013
- Anchorman (PG-13) – August 23, 2013
Three more movies will be added to the series. Opportunities to help pick them will be announced soon.
All movies will be free and open to the public at Ah-Nab-Awen Park. Doors open at 7:00pm. Movies show at dusk. Local vendors will offer food and popcorn. Participants will be allowed to bring their own alcohol.
This sounds like fun! Can't wait to see Anchorman! Until then...you stay classy Grand Rapids.
