Lucky the dog came calling today.

Lucky visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Tammy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Lucky into the studios.

Lucky is a 4-year old Coonhound, that needs a good, home. Lucky has been spayed, had all her vaccinations, is micro chipped, and ready to find her new family. She was rescued with the help of the Pet Smart Rescue Wagon and the Humane Society form southern states, and needs some good loving.

She's been treated for heartworm, so the Humane Society asks adopters to purchase six months of heartworm prevention and they will match 6 months.

According to the American Kennel Club, the Coonhound a pleasant, alert, confident and sociable dog with humans and other dogs, and is an avid hunter. They are easy to care for with their short, harsh coat that requires minimal upkeep.

Tammy said they have an adoption special running through June. All dogs, 6-months and older are only $50!

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
