Michigan State Police Say Pilot Found Dead After Small Aircraft Crashes in Allegan County

Michigan State Police say the pilot of a small aircraft has been found dead after crashing in Allegan County.

WZZM 13 reports that rescue crews, including a Michigan State Police helicopter, were searching in Wayland near 68th and 109th in Casco Township for a small aircraft.

A witness reports hearing something, then seeing an aircraft go down.

Police found an aircraft wing in the woods nearby.

Michigan State Police now say that the pilot has been found dead.
