Roads are a mess all over West Michigan, so if you're planning on travel anywhere tonight you may want to rethink that.  Especially so if you're headed to Kalamazoo or anywhere on I-94.

Earlier today, Michigan State Police put out the request that drivers avoid I-94 in southwest Michigan, between M-51 (west of Paw Paw) and Watervliet.  The worst conditions are in Berrien and Van Buren county where roads are extremely icy and winds are causing whiteouts.  I-94 was closed eastbound at the Hartford exit because of a crash involving several vehicles.
