As summer kicks off, the State of Michigan invites all to enjoy the outdoors!

Anyone in Michigan may enjoy free fishing and no permit/license fees for ORVs on June 7 - 8.

There will also be no charge for admission to Michigan State Parks on June 8.

Gas prices make summer travel expensive, so this weekend's break in fees for outdoor Michigan fun is welcome by many.

FREE FISHING

Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes waters for all species of fish. Fishing regulations still apply.

FREE STATE PARK ADMISSION

No Recreation Passport is required on June 8. This is the only day of the year when there is no vehicle entry fee for the state parks. Camping fees still apply for overnight visitors.

FREE ORV WEEKEND

ORV license and permit fees are waived for off-road vehicles. Anyone (resident or nonresident) may ride an ORV for free. All ORV laws still apply.
