Michigan Ice Cream Parlor Ranked Best in U.S.

As warmer weather finally hits West Michigan, it's time to enjoy the best summer treat out there: ice cream.

There are tons of great ice cream parlors here in the Mitten State, and one has been named the best in the country by Tabelog, a website for food lovers. 

Tablelog has ranked Moomers Homemade Ice Cream of Traverse City No. 1 in America!

In compiling their list of The 10 Best Ice Cream Parlors in America, Tabelog considered quality, creativity, service, price and the overall environment and experience of ice cream establishments across the U.S.

Here's Tabelog's praise for Moomer's:

Talk about variety and quality and you have to mention Moomers. Over 160 flavors to choose from, ranging from Hot Cocoa to Cherries Moobilee (made from local cherries), and the ice cream is made from the cows grazing right next door to the parlor itself.
