Michigan High School Bowling, Wrestling, And Competitive Cheer State Finals Results – West Michigan’s Best

It’s an exciting time of year for high school sports in Michigan!
Time to crown our champions!
West Michigan fared well over the weekend as champions were crowned at the Bowling, Wrestling, and Competitive Cheer finals.

Team finals for state wrestling were held February 22-23, individual finals were this past weekend. Congrats to West Michigan’s state champions!
- Division 1 – 125 – Zach Henderson, Hudsonville, Senior. (40-7)
- Division 2 – 119 - Bailey Jack, Lowell, Junior. (39-8)
- Division 2 – 140 - Kyle Simaz, Allegan, Junior. (61-1)
- Division 3 – 112 - Devin Schroder, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Freshman. (53-0)
- Division 3 – 130 – Nate Limmex, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Sophomore. (22-0)
- Division 3 – 152 - Luke Pahl, Comstock Park, Senior. (44-3)
Competitive Cheer didn’t see any championships come home to West Michigan, but still some amazing results! Highlights include:

- Division 1 – 6th place – Hudsonville
- Division 1 – 8th place – East Kentwood
- Division 2 – 6th place – Grand Rapids Christian
- Division 3 – 4th place – Comstock Park

- Division 2 – 9th place – Sparta
- Division 3 – 6th place – South Christian
- Division 3 – 8th place – Unity Christian
