Summer is busy.

It can be hard to find the time for everything the season brings, but there are some things that can't wait.

Adopt Surrey from Crash's Landing today.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is "Purrrfect Friday," where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home. This week, we're spotlighting Surrey.

Surrey was born in April of 2011.

Surrey was pregnant and FIV positive when Harbor Humane Society asked Crash's Landing if they could take her in.

Of course, Crash's Landing was happy to help.

Surrey also had fleas and ear mites when they took her in. She would later test positive for Feline Leukemia virus. She's had a tough time, but it has never dampened her spirits.

Surrey has always been a sweet and cheerful cat. She would make a great addition to your family!
