Meet Ozzy Pawsbourne and welcome him into your family today!

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Ozzy Pawsbourne.

Ozzy Pawsbourne was born in the fall of 2009. He came to Crash's Landing in March of 2014 after he was found hobbling around on three legs.

Ozzy had suffered a traumatic cat-bite abscess that caused an extensive infection of his entire foot. Radiographs were taken to see if he suffered any type of fracture of the bones in his foot, and initially those were free and clear. However, his foot proved to be quite problematic, taking a long time to heal and requiring multiple procures under anesthesia.

Ozzy would need further treatment and it was discovered that he only had one kidney. Eventually Ozzy was brought back to health and slowly he began to move past trust issues that all of his troubles had created.

Ozzy is now ready for a chance at a simpler, happy life. Can you help?

Please adopt Ozzy!
