Camellia was not even two years old when she first came to Crash's Landing and it was discovered that she had an aggressive form of cancer.

Today, with treatment from Crash's Landing, Camellia is cancer free!

What better way to celebrate than by finding a new home. Please adopt Camellia.

Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill cat rescue center.  Since opening in Grand Rapids in 2002, Crash's Landing has helped more than 2,500 cats. But there is still work to be done.

Every Friday on 100.5 The River is Purrrfect Friday, where we feature a cat from Crash's Landing that needs a home.

This week, we're spotlighting Camellia.

Camellia is less than three years old. When she first came to Crash's Landing last summer it was discovered that she had cancer.

Crash's Landing found that Camellia had an aggressive form of skin cancer, melanoma, and they began treatment immediately.

Camellia, not one to sit still, stayed ahead of schedule during her recovery. She was running around in no time and feeling better. Most importantly, the treatment was a success and she remains cancer free today!

Camellia has proven to be a fighter, now she is ready for a new family.

Can you adopt Camellia?
