“Mary Poppins” at DeVos Performance Hall next Week
I can’t wait for my “Spoon-full of Sugar.”
“Mary Poppins” opens next Wednesday night for a weeks run, at DeVos Performance Hall, from Broadway Grand Rapids.
The show is based more on P.L. Travers’ original book that the popular movie with Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke was. It’s been ‘wowing’ audiences with its technical brilliance and a humdinger of a set, featuring the Banks family’s huge Victorian house opening like a storybook.

So get swept up in the fun of this high-flying musical the New York Post gives 4 out of 4 stars and calls “a perfect piece of musical theater.”
