Man Rescued from Grand River Downtown Grand Rapids

Around 8:30 Monday morning, a man was pulled from the Grand River in downtown Grand Rapids. 

Wood TV 8 reports that the man was spotted near the Blue Bridge by a Grand Valley State University Groundskeeper.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage to determine how the man ended up in the water.

Following the incident, the man was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
