Mackinac Island’s Grand Hotel Offers Deal For Michigan Residents
Mackinac Island’s Grand Hotel celebrated it’s 125th anniversary last month. The hotel, which has been named one of the best in the country, is now continuing the celebration by bringing back a special promotion for Michigan residents.
Six years ago the Grand Hotel gave Michigan residents the opportunity to stay at the famous hotel for a large discount. The promotion proved to be very popular and has returned every year since. Dates and prices for this year’s Celebrate Michigan promotion have been announced and are on sale now.
Mlive.com has more on Grand Hotel’s promotion:
The package costs $125 per person per night (taxes and fees are extra) and is offered Sept. 16-18 and 23-24 and Oct. 1-2 and 24-25. It includes one night’s lodging, a full breakfast and five-course dinner, the Grand Luncheon Buffet, a Michigan-themed reception and complimentary golf green fees. The price has gone up (from $95 in 2011) to reflect the anniversary year, so the hotel’s Grand Luncheon was added to the package.
Dates sell fast! Reservations were first made available at 8:00 this morning. As of this moment, September 18 and October 24-25 are the only dates still available from those listed above. However, the Grand Hotel also added September 19-20 and October 10-11-12.
