Michigan's Upper Peninsula has already had its first snow showers of the year, but everyone in Lower Michigan has been spared...  until this weekend.  Lower Michigan has its first snow in the forecast.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow in Northern Lower Michigan from around Gaylord to Traverse City on Friday night.  And we wouldn't be surprised some flakes flew late into the night a little further south of Gaylord.

But if you are in the Grand Rapids, Lakeshore, or Kalamazoo areas, we shouldn't have anything to worry about.  In fact, according to advanced forecasts, little to no snow is predicted until late into November.  If you are going on AccuWeather's forecasts, we shouldn't see any snow in the Grand Rapids area until Thanksgiving day.

If you do happen to catch any snow falling, be sure to snap a picture and send it our way so we can take a look at the first snowfall in the area.
