All the rain we're getting in West Michigan is nothing compared to the water woes they are having in the south.

Six years ago New Orleans got slammed by hurricane Katrina. Now flood waters from the Mississippi river are threatening to soak the city again, as well as other towns along the mighty river.

The Army Corps of Engineers is opening an emergency spillway to stop that from happening, but thousands will be left homeless as a result.
