This Friday and Saturday night, February 17 and 18, DeVos Performance Hall will "ring" with “The Lord of the Rings” film and the Grand Rapids Symphony.

It's the third, and final installment of one of the most popular film franchises in history.

Along with 200 members of the Symphony, the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus and Grand Rapids Youth Chorus and guest vocalist Kaitlyn Lusk, Lord of the Rings will come to life as you've never seen it before.

I was there last year for part two, having missed the first, but, oh my, what a night.  It was goose bumps all night long.  Watching the movie on the huge HD Digital screen above the stage,  and watching the Symphony and Chorus perform at the same time, was breath taking.  It's a not-to-miss event.

"The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King," part of the SymphonicBoom Series, is tomorrow and Saturday night, February 17-18 at 7 pm in DeVos Performance Hall.

Tickets were going fast so it may be close to, or is, a sell-out.  Try the DeVos Performance Hall Box Office, VanAndel Arena box office, ticketmaster outlets all over town, on-line at Ticketmaster , and at 800-982-2787
