Lavender, the cat, came calling today.

Lavender visited with Andy Rent as he talked about her on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Brooke, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Lavender into the studios.

Lavender is a 2 and one-half-month old Domestic medium hair cat, that needs a good, loving home. Lavender has been spayed, had all her vaccinations, is micro chipped, and ready to find a new home.

According to the Cat Fanciers Association, if you're looking for a cat that will be a gentle companion, a playmate for your children, and a full-fledged member of the family, look no further than the Domestic Medium Hair. This breed is known for its longevity, robust health, good looks, sweet personality, and amiability with children, dogs, and other pets. Kelly fits the bill, totally.

Brooke mentioned that they have plenty of cats for everyone, seriously. And, right now, cats are two for one, or buy one, get one free.

For this July 4th weekend, the Humane Society is also running a dog special. All dogs, 5-months and older are 40% off!

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
