The excitement is building for LaughFest, 2013.  The line up of comedians is  fantastic in it's third year.  So fantastic that tickets are going FAST!

Due to the high volume of tickets sold, Gilda’s LaughFest announced today that they will add a second show for comedian Brian Regan. The additional show will be held at DeVos Performance Hall on March 16 at 9:30 p.m., immediately following Regan’s 7 p.m. show.

Tickets for the second show will go on sale Friday, January 25 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased at ticketmaster.com (search LaughFest), by calling 800-745-3000 or at the Van Andel Arena or DeVos Place box offices. A limited number of seats remain for the 7 p.m. show.

Individual tickets for all LaughFest events went on sale on Friday, January 11. Since that time, ticket sales have outpaced last year’s numbers.

LaughFest opens March 7 and runs through March 17. Entertainers who have already been announced for this year’s event include: Jim Breuer, Bill Burr, Joel McHale, Gary Valentine, Justin Willman, the Nerdist Podcast Live!(co-hosted by Chris Hardwick, Jonah Ray and Matt Mira), Eric Andre, Neal Brennan, Loni Love, Pete Holmes, Fortune Feimster with Myq Kaplan and Michael Yo, W. Kamau Bell, the Shaquille O’Neal Presents... All-Star Comedy Jam, and others.

Gilda’s LaughFest was created by a team at Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids in 2011. In its inaugural year, more than 55,000 people attended the festival. Attendance for the second year of LaughFest was 56,294. More than 40,500 tickets were sold to the various events and visitors came from 25 states and Canada. The two-year income stream from the festival and the signature dinner events have totaled more than $540,000. All dollars raised support the free cancer, grief and emotional health programs offered through Gilda’s Club Grand Rapids.
