Lake Michigan Drive Lane Closures Through May 22

The comfort of warm weather comes with a cost in West Michigan.

More construction projects.

Lane closures have begun for a big project on Lake Michigan Drive.

Last month, MDOT held a meeting to discuss an upcoming project on Lake Michigan Drive.

That project has now begun.

Daily lane closures began on May 5 and will run through May 22 on Lake Michigan Drive between Wilson Avenue and I-196.

Lane closures will be from 9:00am - 3:00pm and affect both eastbound and westbound lanes.

The work is weather dependent.
