Kent County Gives Food Safety Award To 269 Restaurants
The Kent County Health Department has named which restaurants provide the most "outstanding food safety practices".
1,654 restaurants in Kent County were eligible for the food service award, only 269 won.
More Kent County restaurants provide good food service and safety, but the Kent County Health Department wanted to recognize those who are doing the best job.

Under the county’s criteria, restaurants that earn the award must have a certified food safety manager, no confirmed violations of the Michigan Smoke Free Law and no confirmed foodborne illness outbreaks during the year.
