On the third day of questioning potential jurors for the trial Jeffrey Willis for the murder of Rebekah Bletsch, a jury was finally chosen.

FOX-17 reports that in all, 326 people were summoned to possibly serve on the jury. Of those 326, the pool was then narrowed down to 50. From the 50 remaining, 14 potential jurors sat in the jury box Thursday to be questioned by both the prosecution and the defense.

Muskegon County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson asked the jurors several questions, including if they would have any issue with being exposed to "graphic content" during the course of the trial.

Muskegon County Chief Public Defender Fred Johnson then explained several things to the jurors, including the fact that they should not take Willis not taking the stand as an admission of guilt. He also mentioned, according to FOX-17, that they would learn that Willis is involved in "sexual things" that they may not agree with, but that is not what he is on trial for.

Opening statements in the trial are expected to begin around 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
