The 4th of July Celebration begins with a community parade through the streets of the town, continues throughout the day with family-oriented activities at Collins Park and ends with a spectacular fireworks show over Reeds Lake at dusk. Children’s activities, games, food vendors, music and shows are all part of this community celebration of the nations independence.

Grandville 4th of July Celebration

The Fourth of July is the one time a year when the Grandville community comes together to celebrate America's Independence. The celebration lasts for three days and provides several family friendly events including: the Guns vs. Scholar Softball Game, the craft show, the Buck Creek Run, the parade, Rotary's Pancake Breakfast, and annual fireworks show.

This year’s celebration kicks off at noon with Children’s Inflatables, Kid’s Games, Food Vendors, and a free Ice Cream Social! There will be martial arts demonstration from Chan’s Martial Arts, an animal display from the Outdoor Discovery Center and live music on the Main Stage in the evening beginning at 6pm. And of course the Fireworks beginning at dusk with live music.

Leighton Township Fireworks

Boat Parade: Tuesday, July 3 at 7:30pm - meet in the big lake by the slalom ski course. Decorate your boat patriotically (prize for best decorated) and cruise around the entire lake before the fireworks.
Fireworks: Tuesday, July 3 at dark shot off from the Reus beach in the big lake. If observing by boat, please stay at least 500′ off shore to allow for a fireworks safety zone.
Pancake Breakfast: Wednesday, July 4 from 8 – 10 AM at the Green Lake Fire Department building. PLEASE bring a canned good item(s) to be given to Project Hope–the emergency food pantry that serves our area
Land Parade: Monday, July 4 at Noon. Line up begins at 11:30 in the West parking lot of Green Lake Calvary church. The parade will proceed East down 145th Ave (Kalamazoo Ave), to South Shore Dr., then to Round Lake Dr., and back to Kalamazoo Ave ending at the Fire Department building which will have an Open House after the parade with activities, demonstrations, etc.
