John Ball Zoo Adds Funicular Cars, Funicular? It Sounds Like Fun!
Funicular, now there is a word I have never heard before. At first I thought it may have been a made up word. But no, it's for real. Funicular: is a motorized tram on a track and it just came to the John Ball Zoo.
If you watched WZZM13's Early Morning News, Lauren Stanton was broadcasting from the John Ball Zoo funicular. She said you could see the beauty of John Ball Park, with a view from the top that you could just die for! Operations Manager for the zoo says "You are actually going to be flying through the trees. It is going to be cool. There are times you will be 20 to 25 feet above the ground." Now that sounds like fun!
