Some of the biggest names in popular music will remember the life and career of Whitney Houston in an upcoming CBS special featuring live performances by Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Celine Dion and others to be announced. 'We Will Always Love You: A Grammy Salute To Whitney Houston' airs on Friday, Nov. 16 at 10 pm ET.

The special will be produced by the same folks who broadcast the Grammy Awards annually and be filmed on Oct. 11 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. However, the show won't reach TV screens until the same week that the compilation 'I Will Always Love You - The Best of Whitney Houston' hits stores.

In a press release, the Recording Academy explained, "The one-hour special will celebrate Houston's life and artistry through interviews and performances from various artists paying homage to the six-time Grammy winner, and will include Houston's own most memorable performances of her career."

Houston has delivered some of the most memorable Grammy moments in history, including a show-opening performance of 'I Will Always Love You' in 1994 before the song went on to win Record of the Year. Hudson performed the same song at the 2012 Grammys, just days after Houston's untimely passing.

Tickets for the Whitney Houston tribute concert are available to the general public now via Ticketmaster.
