Jennifer Hudson says she's excited for fans to finally listen to her first album in three years.

"JHUD" was released today.

The 33-year-old singer, a Chicago native, revealed she poured everything into making "JHUD."

Hudson also expressed excitement about finally sharing her work with the public.

"I can't wait to share it with y'all," she said on her Instagram account. "I came to handle business; I'm just that type of girl."

The album includes contributions from Iggy Azalea and R. Kelly; as well as her Pharrell Williams-produced single, "I Can't Describe (The Way I Feel)," featuring T.I., and "Walk It Out," which was produced by Timbaland.

"I worked with Pharrell for my first album (2008's 'Jennifer Hudson'), although we didn't end up having anything make that album. But we already had a rapport from back then. I was so excited to work with him again," she told Billboard.

"Where we connect is we both have a love of old-school music. He'll come in with a track, and then I'm like, 'I already know where I'm going with this. I feel you.'"

Hudson hosted her official "JHUD" album launch party, hosted by Gilt City, at Gramercy Park Hotel in New York on Monday night.
