Jean is a beautiful three-year-old Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix dog looking for a good home.

Jean, being a mix of Labrador and Staffordshire, or Pit Bull, could get bad rep because we know pit bulls could be a fighting dog. Dogs that are raised in that hostile enviornment are naturally more aggressive. Jean was not, and Lab and Staffordshire mixes combine the best of both worlds: The sweet, kindness of the labrodor and the protection instincts of the Staffordshire.

Heather, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Jean into the studios. She has been well taken care of, spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and socialized, and is now ready for adoption.

You can get all the information on Jean and adopting, by visiting the society's website or call (616) 453-8900.

Heather also mentioned that the Humane Society of West Michigan has a pet food food bank. They cheerfully accept pet food donations for their food bank that people with qualifying lower incomes may use to keep their pet or pets, well fed and healthy. You'll find all of the information also on the society's website.
