Jazz lovers everywhere rejoice. The third annual GRandJazzFest presented by DTE Energy Foundation is back. The dates are Aug. 16 and 17 in downtown Grand Rapids. Starting at noon on Aug. 16 at Rosa Parks Circle, it’s two days of FREE live jazz! You can bring folding chairs, blankets, snacks and beverages (non-alcoholic) and get ready to relax!

Headlined by jazz trumpeter Rick Braun, playing Aug. 16 at 8 p.m., it kicks off at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 16 with Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra with Edye Evans Hyde, and continues with some of the best in jazz, like Grupo Ayé, Demetrius “Krayon” Nabors, Alexander Zonjic and so much more.
