Jax Visits for Wet Nose Wednesday

Jax the dog came calling today.

Jax visited with Andy Rent as he talked about him on his Andy in the Morning show for Wet Nose Wednesday.

Trudy, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, brought Jax into the studios.

Jax is a 5-month old beagle shepherd mix and needs a great home.  He was surrendered by his owner who wasn't able to properly take care of him and wanted him to have a good, loving home.

According to the DogBreedInfo.com, the beagle shepherd mix is an amazing dog. They are sweet, protective and very goofy! They are easy to train, but won't do much without treats. They are very active, and will play till he's completely worn out, then they may sleep forever. 

This Saturday is the Empty the Shelters event on with fee waived adoptions sponsored by the Bissell Pet Foundation.  HSWM will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.; with the 11 a.m. - noon hour for pre approved customers only.  To get pre approved, interested adopters can come to HSWM, fill out an adoption survey (or download it on line, fill out and bring in) and then meet with an adoption counselor to get approved.
