"Wet Nose Wednesday" on 'Andy in the Morning' always bring a new pet to adopt from the Humane Society of West Michigan.

Today, "Tippy" visited the studios, and what a cutie.  She's 3 years-old and sure needs a good home.  If you have kids, they should be a bit older since little ones tend to pull and chase and that wouldn't be good for Tippy.

Jen brought Tippy in and also mentioned the "Parade of Paws" this weekend.  It is a collaboration of the Humane Society, Vicky's Pet Connection, Kent County Animal Shelter, C-Snip, Carol'sFerals, and Crash's Landing.  Going on this Thursday, August 9th through Saturday, August 11th, you'll get discounts on adoption fees, retail items, have educational seminars, and extended hours at each location.  Be sure to pick up a punch card at any location, visit at least 3 locations, have it punched, and you'll be entered into a drawing for great prizes.

As always, you can find out more information through their web site, Humane Society of West Michigan, and by calling 616-453-8900.
