Every Wednesday on "Andy in the Morning" on 100.5 The River, it's Wet Nose Day!  I invite the Humane Society of West Michigan into the studio and they always bring a special guest.

Today on the show, Nicole Cook, Marketing and Events Coordinator, brought Grant in.

As you can see, Grant is a Shih Tzu.  He is one of the dogs rescued from the horrible conditions animal control officials in Allegan County found at a home breading puppies.  There may have been close to 300 dogs found, and, thus far, the Humane Society of West Michigan has taken 20.  The others, all safe, are being cared for by other groups, organizations and individuals.

Nicole says that Grant is ready for adoption, as well as 4 additional Shih Tzu's from Allegan County.

They are having an open house, this Saturday for you to meet the dogs, and all other adoptable animals.
