Today, the FBI released its latest crime statistics. Flint was named the most violent city in the nation in 2010,  according to the latest research.

Moving to second place, Detroit. In my opinion, the reason for that would be numbers, right? Everybody has left Detroit so crime would naturally go down.

Nationally, violent crime dropped 6 percent in 2010, marking the fourth straight year of declines. And property crime also was down for the eighth straight year, falling 2.7 percent.

I feel blessed to be living in one of the last great cities in Michigan.  Grand Rapids is in it's sunrise not sunset.
