Say it isn't true. McDonald's is cutting out some favorite sandwich's. Yes, it's true.McDonald's is cutting seven sandwiches from its menu and if any of them are your favorite, you better hurry up and grab them because they'll soon be gone.

According to the Business Insider, the decision comes as the fast-food giant tries to create a smaller menu as a way to combat declining sales. The sandwiches on the chopping block include the Deluxe Quarter Pounder, the honey mustard and chipotle barbecue snack wraps, and six different chicken sandwiches. The menu cuts come after the chain closed 700 poorly-performing restaurants around the world earlier this year.

Critics say the bloated menu has dramatically slowed down customer service.

The menu has grown 42.4% in the past seven years, to 121 items from 85 items in 2007, according to The Wall Street Journal.

The chain's average drive-thru wait is 3 minutes, 9.5 seconds, which is the longest average wait time in at least 15 years, according to a  study by QSR Magazine.

Oh, well, I guess it's back to the tried and true cheeseburger.
